Costumer Reviews
There were five vehicles initially released from the 4 Indiana Jones movies. Considering that Crystal Skull was the latest clearly they have two from there jungle cutter and Hangar 51 Rocket Sled. There was also the blimp escape biplane from The Final Crusade, as effectively as the Persian Tank which went over the cliff from the similar film. If you are interested I also bought the plane and tank and have written critiques on these as nicely so check them out if interested.
From Raiders of the Lost Ark you get the cargo truck complete with Harrison Ford's stunt double Indy being dragged behind it (it's by a piece of white string not his whip). You have also got the Ark of the Covenant in the back of the truck but it really is inside a crate which does not open, so as to defend your face from melting away. When you get this out of the packet you have to remove a little plastic protection thing to see it (which is another purpose to take it out of the packaging) or you can just lift off the canopy. You can also position the canopy in the way you drive a truck in actual life, with the back closed. If you essentially didn't want anyone to be able to jump in the back or see in the back that is, but this is a replica from the film so you'll probably keep it the open back way. What lets this automobile down a bit is the very thin wheels which if you actually gave this to a kid to play with would get damaged fairly swiftly. The front windshield is also blacked out for some cause which would make it complicated to see when driving. Hasbro has believed about this challenge and their remedy is to involve no driver at all. So it kind of makes no sense then why Indy requirements to be dragged along by a truck that is naturally going to crash or come to a cease anyway. Despite the fact that I'm glad they included the Indy figure on a string rather than just the car but they could have had a brown string.
All these vehicles come with a small brown stand that is supposed to represent a rocky dirt ground but really looks like a thing you may possibly step in if an irresponsible dog owner hasn't picked up soon after their dog. It's the exact exact same one for all of 5 of these vehicles.
There is no scale at all on the packaging but the actual size of the die-cast truck is roughly the similar size as your everyday Matchbox/Johnny Lightning/Hot Wheels die-cast auto which are 1/64. The figure is slightly smaller than you usual sized ones employed in 1/64 vehicle sized dioramas.
The packaging even though not the easiest to open can be opened with scissors in an Egyptian mummy coffin way to fairly a lot conserve the packaging for resale (all you'd have to do is put some tape down the side if you cut along the bottom, top and one particular side exactly where the plastic meets the cardboard backing). It is worthwhile keeping the packaging as it does have some movie info on the back (see client images) plus if you want to resell later you are likely to get slightly additional.
Overall this truck and the other Indiana Jones vehicles are pretty low-cost, you really should be in a position to get them each for below $five from someplace, and are effectively worth owning. There was also a second release which included the motorbike with sidecar from Crusade and a handful of other vehicles. Check out my consumer images to see the packaging and some of the stuff I've talked about in this evaluation.
