Those of us who are as obsessed with Indiana Jones as we are Star Wars fanatics have waited a Lengthy time for a nicely populated Indy action figure line covering all of Dr. Jones' wonderful exploits! And now, we finally have it! These 3 3/four inch figures from Hasbro are just too cool! Granted, some could possibly be a lot more impressive than other individuals, but the initially three I chose from the ranks were all good!

This new line of Indiana Jones figures was introduced at the time of the new film, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", and the first releases only covered that film and Raiders of the Lost Ark. As substantially as I wanted those figures, I held off. In common, action figures of this size appear to be way overpriced at the usual 7-8 bucks in retail shops, and I definitely wanted to be inspired by seeing some characters who have by no means been action figures ahead of added to the line (yeah, back in the '80's there had been some Raiders figures from Kenner, but that line by no means continued, and Disney theme parks carry their personal Raiders-based line that was an improvement, but nothing compared to these). Right away, I snatched up the 3 I had wanted the most, Young Indiana Jones, Dr. Henry Jones (Indy's dad), and Indiana (selecting the 1 from Crystal Skull with full Indy gear on and holding the skull). Of course, this assessment is just about Young Indiana Jones.

Highly detailed, this figure sports a fantastic likeness to the late River Phoenix who portrayed the original Young Indy in the film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Young Indy is dressed in his scout uniform and has the Cross of Coronado (permanently) tucked into his belt. He is well jointed at the knees, elbows, hips, shoulders, head, and waist, and comes with a bullwhip in mid lash and a snake. That's perfect, a snake! Also, like all the figures, he comes with a paper crate in which you can obtain a secret Indy artifact (no secret really, Young Indiana Jones comes with a spare Cross of Coronado, although these aren't the ones to scale with these figures and would in all probability greater suit 6 inch figures). The crate also contains a sticker to save in case you want to redeem 6 of them (and the price tag of a figure) for the mail away three 3/4 figure of one particular of the aliens from Crystal Skull and his throne. The order form for this is identified on the Hasbro internet site. I'm hoping to do that myself when I land 3 a lot more. All in all, an fantastic acquire for the Indiana Jones fanatic!
