I bought this whole set for my four yr old daughter about a month ago and it is the greatest toy ever! Yes, the garage does fall apart and the doors fall off, but all I applied was 1 piece of tape all the way about to secure the roof and due to the fact then there hasn't been a difficulty at all You can't even see the tape, and it is a rather painless fix. I do advise that you use the tape trick primarily if you have little ones like I do. They just aren't as gentle as older youngsters and she tended to knock the roof off easliy. I do not locate that the hamsters get stuck at all. Most persons do not really recognize how these small guys operate. Initially and foremost you have to replace the batteries in all the hamsters when you get them dwelling. The batteries are only for in-shop use and it says so on the instructions and on the webpage as properly. As soon as you adjust the batteries....wow watch these little guys go! Secondly you have to pay attention to the tunnel directions, once again in the directions and the website, otherwise they will not perform correctly. Thirdly, they do NOT get stuck, they make their own little decisions...just let them go and see what they do! My daughter LOVES these and has played with them non quit considering that she got them over a month ago. For the price tag they are wonderful! (Not on amazon though, appear at toys r us or walmart, or in particular ebay rather they have the whole set for a fairly fantastic deal!)

Just read via the other reviews and I am particularly shocked with all the negative comments concerning this garage! I occur to think this is 1 of the best accessories for the entertaining home..!
Want to give a couple suggestions though for those who have troubles with the garage staying together / not going anyplace. Very first, yes, the garage is particularly flimsy and will not remain together. It falls apart at the slightest move (or heck, when the zhu-zhu went through the doors it would fall apart!). How to fix? Simple, hot glue. It takes literally 30 seconds to hot glue the garage at all four snaps and it fixes your situation. The garage stays put.. the doors stay place and that is that - no a lot more of it falling. Should certainly you have to do this? Nicely, no, but its an quite very easy repair that is a remedy to the problem.
Second issue.. how to get the car to go. When you place the vehicle in the garage - do NOT push it all the way back! When you do this, you are going to notice the car goes more than a slight bump of some sort.. the zhu-zhu has issues acquiring on the vehicle and wont go particularly far. Rather, place the vehicle on the pretty edge of the garage, exactly where the bumper is touching the doors when they are closed - all 3 of our zhu-zhus can "drive" this car just fine when it is like this (and, on carpet.. we have it upstairs on our carpet.. all 3 zhu-zhus have no challenge going on our carpet!) - So there is a the solution for that problem.
When you do these points.. then it tends to make the garage 1 of the cutest accessories out there.. it is extremely cute when the zhu-zhu goes down the ramp, into the garage and up the automobile and just "drives" it out! The zhu-zhu will remain on the car and just drive it about till you take it out of the vehicle. We genuinely do really like this accessory.. really entertaining (and the cats like it also!)
