My daughter, practically four, LOVES her brush. She says it tends to make her hair added soft. Having said that, it is incredibly loud and you can not turn it off. You have to let the whole song play and it is looonnnggg.
My four year old loved this brush when we gave it to her as a gift. She loves that it plays the song from the movie and she also likes switching the backs on them. My only complaint is that I wish it had functioned a little far better as an actual brush. She tried and tried to brush her hair with this but it did not do anything. It just type of grazed more than the leading (she has quite long, fine hair) which was okay considering when she did get it into her hair, it got stuck. Overall I would say it's fine for all those little girls that enjoy Rapunzel and her magic hair, but I would not count on it to essentially use as your child's major hair brush.
