It's quite solid and fairly heavy. Nice detail. It is fairly morbid but really cool. I'm unsure as to how much of a collectible this will be though as it came in a non descript black box with no paperwork and I couldn't obtain a single detail anyplace signifying who produced it, who produced it, how lots of, etc. Other statues will occasionally have the artist signature on the bottom and say some thing like "752 of 5,000." This does not do this. Plus, as I mentioned the box is not from some type of toy or collectible enterprise. I searched e bay and could not discover it listed anyplace and I looked around on the net for about 15 minutes (hardly exhaustive search, I admit) and couldn't acquire something other than this amazon listing and the listing from the collectible retailer exactly where this is sold (Maybangs). Interestingly, going straight to Maybangs webpage has this product with a list price of $129.99 but on sale for $60.00 there. Of course, Amazon states list value of $249.99 with sale of $49.99 and it's sold by means of Maybangs. The Amazon listing consists of the precise same wording as the Maybang web-site. In short the item itself is great and was worth the $50. i'm not the most significant venom fan but i like a good statue and lord knows there are a ton of bad and/or lame ones out there but this is not 1 of those. this one particular is fairly impressive. what i normally look for is detail, especially in the muscles, and this one particular has that in spades. the physique is super impressive and catches your eye. the only thing i do not like about this statue is that i think they went overkill with the teeth and tongue. he looks a tiny bucktoothed and the tongue is overboard...it does take away from the statue but just slightly. and the preferred factor is that this $200 statue was just [...] bucks on amazon. that's a bargain, as far as fine statues go!
