Client Reviews

Von Nebula is incredible. I've been shopping for other models and avoinding this 1 for some unknown cause and lastly grabbed it. I feel the design on these Hero Factory Villans is surpasing the design of some earlier Bionicles. Not all, but some...
The physique construct is heavy and thick. Nicely designed in my opinion. Stands tall, around ten+ inches. Sorry I do not have the toy on hand when I am writting my evaluation. I knocked a point off of durability for a couple of small facts.
1. Arms are cheaply developed. They ARE strong, but there are only two joints. His shoulders move well and have the a-typical dual ball/socket design seen on other big boss-like models (Rotor, Tuma...). Then again, this piece goes straight to his "hand". The hand does swivel on it is personal joint, but thats it. two joints = silly looking if you definitely appear at the model. T-rex comes to thoughts.
2. Legs. The legs are built fairly solid and also have the dual ball joint develop. Very flexible for posing. Appreciate the leg pistons, as well. Hoever, there are several points where posts holding the legs together weren't "capped" so the exposed post is just hanging out. I believed this was dumb. Rotor's were all capped... The upper leg armor piece is not best either. It just flaps on the leg on a hinge. Nothing main, but not my preferred.
3. The "neck" is definitely fairly loose. You can manually squeeze a couple of leading pieces together to prevent the neck from slipping, but more than time you'll notice the head drooping. It's just a small too heavy for design. Nevertheless functional by all means.
Thats about it. I assume this is nonetheless an amazing addition to any Bionicle fan's line up (I know it's Hero Factory). Staff is ominous and perfect for a super villan weapon. Nicely colored. Oh, and the spikey shoulder pads are rubbery, vice difficult, plastic, sharp points. Really soft and flexible. No injury worries if you were concerned.
Enjoyable to do. I've noticed most of these characters helmets are nonetheless superb seeking when reversed. Von Nebula's helmet looks fantastic inverted. Executioner looking mask with horns, but no eyes (vice a gas mask scarab factor with pinchers). Just a thought.

My nephew opened and loved this Lego set, picking out to assemble it in his own way rather than following the directions. He was incredibly proud of his creativity in assembling this "guy" in his personal way.
