Zambi is adorable with her sweet noises she tends to make. She raises her trunk to good you and makes cute infant elephant noises. She even flaps her ears! The only downfall on the Furreal good friends is they sound mechanical, and they are not soft and cuddly like you would count on the animal to be. You can really feel the hardness of the physique. It is actually cute although, and her noises are truly adorable. Cute thought. The chimp was my favorite, as my kids collect them all. The cats often shed a lot, but this elephant doesn't shed at all. Zambi moves her mouth as she tends to make her noises, and lifts her trunk when she trumpets her elephant noises. Cute for any elephant lover!
My daughter loves elephants so I bought the toy at Target two weeks ago when it was on sale for $35. My daughter is 7 so I was not sure how she would like the toy but it exceeded my expectations. This is a durable toy that is entirely interactive. The infant elephant responds when you rub her back or underneath her chin. She provides kisses and her tail can curl under your finger. This is a seriously sweet toy but the top portion is that 50% of the proceeds of the sales go to fund the Zambi Africa project. Hasbro has set up a fund to help the children orphaned by AIDS living in Zambia.
My daughter loves the elephant--I highly advocate this toy.
