Even though this was suggested for ages three+, our 19 month old loves it. She loves to doodles on it, has figured out how to clear the "slate" and can spend rather a bit of time on it ahead of getting bored and moving on. It is also a great way for me to show her how to draw shapes.

This isn't the ideal a single out there. It doesn't come with the magnetic shapes that I've observed others come with. These not only add to the entertaining but are much easier for younger kids to use then the pen. Also, maybe it was just mine but there it a tiny section that does not seem to function (no magnetic particles stick to it) and a few places exactly where the magnetic particles do not get erased. I would have expected much better high quality manage from Fisher Price tag.
