Let me begin by saying that this isn't the sort of Lego kit you get to preserve your kid busy developing for hours on end. It is only 79 pieces, and I'd guess would take even the most inexperienced builder only 5 or ten minutes to put together. Why shop for it then?
For starters, this set has 4 complete minifigures, such as Indy, Marion, and two bad guys. That is a lot of little Lego guys for a set in this cost range, and 1 of them is even a girl, rather a uncommon specimen in Legoland! There are also lots of unusual and interesting accessory pieces... Indy's whip, a frying pan, a golden plate, a couple of green apples, and a big barrel that the figures can hide inside. This is not a set that will be built and stuck away on a shelf. These guys will undoubtedly be battling it out for years to come - lots of play worth and lots of fun!

Terrific beginner Lego! Our first Lego obtain. Bought for our son (five) and our daughter (8) put it all together for him. LOTS of little pieces that we attempt to maintain in its own ziploc. They enjoy the characters the most, although, and have only created the actual cart, and so on., a few occasions. We're sold. Now we know we'll get some way more Lego for DD for Cmas.
