Costumer Critiques
There were 5 vehicles initially released from the 4 Indiana Jones films. Since Crystal Skull was the most up-to-date obviously they have two from there jungle cutter and Hangar 51 Rocket Sled. There was also the cargo truck with Indiana dragging behind it from Raiders and from The Last Crusade, the Persian Tank which went over the cliff. If you happen to be interested I also purchased the truck and tank and have written critiques on these as well so check them out if interested.
The escape plane from the blimp is my favourite though. Has both Indiana and Henry Jones inside it. Henry has the massive rear gun firmly in his hands (he has however to shoot out the tale which is a bit disappointing). Unlike the other metal vehicles in this series this one particular is all plastic for some purpose, but it is still really powerful and it would actually be far more durable than the other people. Disappointingly the wheels do not move on this, then again the propeller does rotate.
All these vehicles come with a tiny brown stand that is supposed to represent a rocky dirt ground but essentially looks like some thing you might possibly step in if an irresponsible dog owner hasn't picked up soon after their dog. It is the exact similar one particular for all of 5 of these vehicles which is a bit stupid in particular the plane as the plane honestly would have benefited from a little pole or one thing so the plane could be displayed flying. In particular when you look at that what the figures in the plane are positioned performing.
There is no scale at all on the packaging but the actual size of the die-cast plane is roughly the exact same size as your everyday Matchbox/Johnny Lightning/Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle which are 1/64.
The packaging while not the easiest to open can be opened with scissors in an Egyptian mummy coffin way to pretty significantly conserve the packaging for resale (all you'd have to do is put some tape down the side if you cut along the bottom, prime and a single side where the plastic meets the cardboard backing). It is worthwhile keeping the packaging as it does have some film information on the back (see client images) plus if you want to resell later you are likely to get slightly additional.
General this plane and the other Indiana Jones vehicles are pretty inexpensive, you must be able to get them every for under US $5 which includes postage, and are properly worth owning. There was also a second release which included the motorbike with sidecar from Crusade and a couple of other vehicles. Check out my client pictures to see the packaging and some of the stuff I've talked about in this evaluation.
